The main and primary concern of our company is to notify all visitors of our web pages on the terms concerning the rights and obligations of chiosshop.gr, with the aim of informing visitors of their own rights and obligations in order to guarantee a better service in the customer search and purchase of products.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
The first condition necessary for the commencement of any exchange between the shop and a customer is the disclosure of some personal information. When ordering you will be asked to give details of your first name, your surname, the address to which the ordered items will be send, your home or mobile telephone number (or any other telephone number that would enable us to produce a better service), your e-mail address e.t.c. and in case you choose to make your payments with credit card, you will be asked to give the credit card number and the expiring date.
“PYXIDA” company and chiosshop.gr following the principles for the protection of personal information and in accordance with the Greek and International law will not disclose personal information without your prior consent for any use to a third party. Chiosshop.gr will not disclose, publicize, sell or exchange the personal information or any other information entrusted to us from you. Exceptionally, the company will publicize personal information always in accordance with the law governing the protection of personal information and when this is officially demanded by a public authority, a court, e.t.c.
You can change the personal information entrusted to us if it is necessary or you can confine or even cancel the use of some the information you entrusted to us (e.g. your credit card number) by filling in the appropriate electronic form.
SECURITY
Chioshop.com uses the SSL protocol, with an 128-bit encryption (the most powerful presently), to ensure online commercial transactions. In this way, all your personal information are encrypted, including your credit card number, name and address, so that they cannot be read or altered during transfer on the Internet.
The SSL Protocol (Secure Sockets Layer), is the world standard on the internet for certification of network places (web sites) and for the encryption of information among network users and web servers. An encrypted SSL communication requires that all the information dispatched between a customer and a server to be encrypted by the sender’s software and decoded by the receiver’s software thus protecting personal information during transfer. Moreover, all the information transferred via the SSL protocol, are protected by the use of a routine which automatically determines whether the data have been changed during transfer.
WAYS OF PAYMENT:
For the facilitation and service of all that wish to purchase goods from our shop, we offer the following alternative ways of payment:
1. Via credit card VISA, MAESTRO, AMERICAN EXPRESS, DINERS and MASTERCARD that have been issued at any bank.
2. Via cash payment.
3. Via deposit to a Bank account.
WAY - TIME - COST OF SHIPPMENT:
In case of regions where transfer by courier is not possible, the time of shipment is that offered by the Greek Postal service. Deliveries will be carried out daily except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
PRICES OF SALES PRODUCTS:
The prices listed next to each product on the sales catalogues include VAT (3% for books and magazines, 13% for all other sales items).
For certain Greek regions where lower VAT percentages are in effect and provided that the order is invoiced, sales prices are lower than the ones quoted at the decreased VAT percentages.
VARIOUS:
1. Act of God: If for reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather, strikes e.t.c.) it is not possible for us to deliver the products within the predetermined time, you we will be informed via e-mail, so you can declare to us whether you wish completion of your order under the given conditions at the time.
2. Accountability of chioshop.com: Chioshop.com is not to be held accountable for possible faults or defects of products sold.
In case, however, it is proved that the delivered products are defective you deserve the right to return the product and have it replaced and delivered back to you at our own expence or you can choose to receive a refund of your money.
3. Advertisment messages: Chioshop.com offers its customers the choice of being informed via advertisement messages at their e-mail, post address or telephone about new products available on the market, value saving sales offers, new ways of payment e.t.c.
Chiosshop.gr will not abuse the above mentioned service. Customers reserve the right to discontinue, if they so decide, reception of advertising messages.
4. Cookies: Like most sites on the internet we also at chioshop.com use cookies so that you can have access to certain information each time you use a web browser to surf at our shop. Without the use of cookies it would be impossible to us to offer you important services such as: product order information, personal settings, storage of objects in the shopping cart or a reminder list between two of your visits e.t.c.. the Cookies are alphanumeric files that we transfer to the hard drives of your pc through the internet so that we can offer you the above mentioned services. In your browser settings you can choose to set your browser not to accept new cookies or you can set it up to ask you each time a new cookie is to be installed on your hard drive. However, you are reminded that should you choose to block cookies from being installed on your hard drive, you will not be able to use some of the services offered by our shop.
